Make 5 illustrator prints and bring in to class.

Step 3
File---Export---Format(Photoshop)----ColorModel(RGB), Resolution (High), Options(Flatten Image)

Step 4
Take photoshop file to lab to have them make a print.

Step 5
Bring prints to class.

Bring in 3 illustrator files that are semi-completed to work on in class.

Due Oct 19th

Bring in 2 files that you have created in illustrator that uses the techniques we learned in class last friday. Anything brought in after Friday morning will be considered late. Thanks.

Assignment #4 Critique #1

Bring in at least 5 final printouts that you have worked on in Photoshop to discuss with class.

Assignment #3 Due 9/27

1.Make 3 new scans.
Make sure scans are big enough to print.
(At least 300 dpi at 8x10 inches.)

2.Do corrections to your scans and save as photoshop files on the class server.
Flatten photoshop files and save as tiff files on the class server.

3.Make print out of tiff files.

4.Post jpegs of both your original scan and the new corrected file to your blog.

5.Bring the 3 print outs to class.

6.If you do the work at home make sure to bring in the original scans and corrected files to class on Friday.

The following are images to work on in photoshop and post to your blog before class next week. The images were given to you in class as PSD (photoshop) files. Because PSD(photoshop) files are too big and slow to upload to your blog, you will (after doing all the corrections) need to flatten the file and save as a jpeg to your desktop. After saving the jpeg, upload the jpeg to your blog. Make sure the large option box is checked while uploading. This will allow the image to be shown on your blog at the largest size possible.
